At Rick’s Main Roofing, our dedication to Fairfield County goes far beyond keeping local homes and businesses safe from the New England elements. We strongly believe that building a resilient community starts with investing in the health, wellness, and future of our local youth.
That is why our team was incredibly honored to participate in the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the official opening of the School-Based Health & Wellness Center at Kendall College & Career Academy right here in Norwalk, CT.
A Vital Partnership for Norwalk Students
This incredible initiative represents a major step forward for our community. Made possible through a collaborative partnership between Norwalk Public Schools and the Norwalk Community Health Center (NCHC), this new on-site facility ensures that students have direct, barrier-free access to the physical and mental health resources they need. By supporting student wellness, this center paves the way for greater academic success and a healthier future for our youth.
A Proud Kendall Alumnus Gives Back
For our team, this event was especially meaningful. Rick Tavella of Rick’s Main Roofing is a proud Kendall graduate. During the event, Rick had the distinct honor of speaking alongside esteemed community leaders, including NCHC CEO Kenneth Waller.
Sharing his insights at his alma mater, Rick spoke about just how impactful this new resource will be for the next generation of students walking the same halls he once did. It is a profound privilege to return to your roots and help champion a project that will actively uplift your hometown.
Continuing to Keep Norwalk #ChamberStrong
We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible, including the educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders who came together to support local students.
At Rick’s Main Roofing, we are proud to play a small part in helping local students thrive. We remain committed to supporting Norwalk’s growth, community connections, and the bright futures of our local students.
